Frequently Asked Questions
Does my child need any roleplaying or D&D experience?
No. Most kids in this cohort will be new to this style of experience, and the experience itself is different from D&D.
What if my child is shy, anxious, or has ADHD, autism, or other support needs?
This program can be a great benefit! Tell me on the call, so I can plan the process and any accommodations.
What happens after I submit the form?
I'll call you personally, usually within 24 hours, at a time that works for you. We'll talk through questions, and any info about your child you wish to share. I'll follow up by email with a link to pay and reserve the spot.
Is there any obligation once I submit the form or have the call?
None. The call is just a conversation.
What should my child bring?
They're welcome to bring some water and not-messy snacks. There is no food provided. They should bring their ForgeBook to every session.
What if we need to miss some sessions – can there be a makeup class?
Since we progress through the adventure as a group, there won't be an opportunity for individual makeup sessions.
Is there a trial class available?
We'll offer observation drop ins once sessions are running. Please contact us to schedule this.
I saw that there are take-home writing assignments, are they mandatory?
The creative writing assignments are not mandatory, but they are encouraged, and they are rewarded! Completing the assignments helps kids level up their characters and become more powerful.
